Joyce Guiness Spring Pop…

On Wednesday 5th April, Joyce Guiness are hosting a Spring Pop Up Event. We have fabulous companies coming; Stella and Dot, Davina Mulford, My Showcase make up, Elysia Byrd, JoJo Hats and Sherab Young. The evening, which will take place between  5pm-8pm and will be a chance for you to meet new people and have a catch up with friends. Of course all this with a glass of bubbles in hand! The brands that are being showcased are mostly independent boutiques, and we hope to have something for everyone.   Stella and Dot A jewellery and accessories company, they sell a range of amazing pieces from lovely delicate necklaces to bold statement rings. The Chelsea Flower Show

The prettiest event of the year is next week and you won’t want to miss it!  London is already bursting at the seams; bouquets of colour everywhere you look.  If you have missed getting your ticket but still wish to surround yourself with flowers during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show...then here are some hay fever free beautiful hangouts. The Blue Bird Not only has the blossom carried colour to the streets, it has also brought floral wonders to the menus and cocktails at The Blue Bird. They will be introducing a Royal Garden Cocktail.  This delicious drink is full of rose-petal gin, maraschino, rhubarb liqueur, lemongrass cordial, fresh thyme, raspberries and topped with sparkling wine! Finding jobs through social…

Over 90% of companies use social media when hiring especially via a recruitment agency platform; It’s an efficient quick and environmentally friendly marketing method for finding candidates. Sites like LinkedIn are top of the list for social media job search(es) with over 400 million followers - this has ramped up the need to be social media savvy and participate as a business to keep up with the everchanging hiring, recruiting and employment trends. A large percentage of companies will use platform(s) such as Facebook to screen candidates so it is imperative that your online presence and profile have to be clear of any posts, photos or comments that would jeopardise your chances of getting your foot in the door with recruiters and companies in general. Instagram feeds, stories and blogs are also a quickfire way to get the job details out there to candidates; posting pictures and information that is pleasing to the candidate’s’ feed and links that take them straight to the employment agency - it takes the work out of pounding the pavements and saves time and energy for - both recruiters, candidates and clients.
