Job Overview

The company needs a Candidate who has at least 2-3 years experience of working in a professional environment in an administrative / research-based role, with excellent communication skills both verbal and written (good knowledge of MS WORD & EXCEL) The Candidate will need to a desire and ability to learn quickly and be highly organised, bright, efficient and a willingness to help when and where needed. You will be supporting 3 Portfolio Managers, an analyst, the Office Manager, and the wider team.


The role will be very varied, incorporating diary management, meeting arrangements, research, collation and distribution of information, provision of hospitality / front-of-house services in terms of reception, meeting and greeting visitors, and meeting room set-up, the ordering of all office supplies, and general administrative duties.

Duties include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Office supplies
  • General administrative duties
  • Working closely and collaboratively with a small team of EAs / Team Assistants. Providing cover for one another and sharing workloads in times of high pressure
  • Arranging meetings / Diary management
  • Liaising with external organisations e.g. clients, listed companies, and brokers
  • Maintaining spreadsheets of conferences and invitations
  • Scanning and filing notes/ collating research packs from various data sources
  • Keeping an efficient electronic filing system where resources can be easily located
  • Circulating monthly newsletter to investors
  • Ordering stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Distribution of post and any deliveries
  • Provide refreshments for meetings
