Job Overview

We are looking for a great communicator, a problem solver who can work well under pressure with strong organisational skills. You will be working with a fantastic property company and reporting to the Head of Property Management. Your responsibilities are for the management of a portfolio of properties which they look after on behalf of the companies Landlords, providing a great customer experience for both Landlord and Tenant. The Property Management team is renowned for its personal approach and exceptional customer service and the Property Managers within this company are some of the most respected in the industry. Mon-Fri 9am-6pm (7pm on rota) Saturday on rota. The benefits cover a Holiday accrual scheme, iPhone, pension, gym, life assurance, private healthcare, ride to work scheme, and many more!

 

Duties include

  • Responsibility for the management of a portfolio of properties
  • Liaising with both Landlords and Tenants
  • Liaising with Lettings and Tenancy Admin Departments with regards to starts, ends, renewals
  • Liaising with Accounts
  • Inspect all properties every 4 months and at any other time if required
  • Instructing and overseeing works and ensuring the work has been carried out correctly and in a timely fashion
  • Passing invoices for payment and ensuring that all invoices are paid in a timely fashion
  • Filing
  • Letter writing
  • Utilities at the start and end of every tenancy
  • End of tenancy claims
  • Dealing with and trying to resolve any complaints before handing over to Department Manager
  • Taking on new properties
  • Attending regular meetings with Letting’s offices
  • Maintaining each property file so that if another Property Manager needs to deal with something in your absence it is all easy to follow with File Notes as applicable
  • Dealing with and processing insurance claims
