Job Overview

This investment company prides itself on being approachable and empathetic. The Team is very good at what they do. The role will be front of house (Reception) as well as basic bookkeeping and acting as the Team Assistant, the bookkeeping part of the role is for a mat cover for 10 months, so when they return you will hand that part of the role over and then do more assisting with the team. Experience of how this type of company works is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker, they just want someone who is willing to learn and can be taught, who has a high attention to detail and is very focused, a good communicator, and is welcoming.  Would be good if you have experience with SAGE and XERO.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Meeting and greeting clients, answering phones, emails, etc
  • Diary management
  • Administrative duties, stationery, scanning, etc
  • Ad hoc duties – booking for a restaurant or hotels
  • Weekly online shopping order
  • Managing the database
  • Expenses (platforms & web expenses)
  • Office management duties
  • Date input and banking
